7:00 am - Departure from New York (meeting point to be determined). Today our travel itinerary takes us to Ephrata, PA. When the rooster crows early in the morning, the Green Dragon comes to life every Friday morning in the small rural town of Ephrata in Lancaster County. Thousands of local shoppers have visited this local attraction since 1932 for their weekly shopping from over 400 local producers, traders and artisans.

Located on 30 acres in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Green Dragon Market has grown to become one of the largest Farmers Markets on the East Coast. The market offers visitors the option of shopping indoors or outdoors.

With 7 large market buildings and many other smaller shops, Green Dragon's merchants offer everything from "soup to nuts". Dragon Farmers Market & Auction from 8:00am to 8:00pm every Friday to sample award-winning Pennsylvania wines! Quality meats, cheeses, fresh produce, baked goods and local wines all in one place make it easy to taste the best that Pennsylvania has to offer.

In the afternoon we will stop at Javateas for a great coffee. This place is a gourmet cafe serving fresh roasted coffee and light meals daily in three cozy, community-oriented environments!
